• 2Cherry Blossom Avenue by East Outer Moat

  

  Popular spot located at the southern end of the East Outer Moat. When the metasequoias come into bud, streaks of cherry pink and fresh green reveal a dreamy beauty.

• 3Cherry Blossom Avenue by South Outer Moat

  

  Always the first place in the park to bloom, this avenue is a perfect place for cherry blossom viewing. When the season arrives, the area becomes bustling with strollers and picnickers enjoying the flowers.

• 4Peach Garden and Cherry Blossoms

  

  The peach blooms first, and the cherry blossoms follow to reach the climax. Crimson and white peach blossoms and pink cherry blossoms complement each other best.

• 5Nishinomaru Garden

  

  Home of the sample tree, the standard individual of the cherry trees used to judge the blossoming in Osaka, this garden is a place that offers a great view of the Main Tower over the cherry blossoms.
  

  On the night of the official blossoming of the cherry tree, the Main Tower is lit up in the color of “Sakura (Cherry Blossom)”!

  Various species of Satozakura (double-flowered cherry blossom) planted at the beginning of the Reiwa era (2019) gloriously bloom in the new recommended cherry blossom spot in Morinomiya.
