Night Cherry Blossom Viewing 2025
Enjoy the nighttime cherry blossom viewing of about 300 trees in Nishinomaru Garden!
In the Nishinomaru Garden, located to the west of the castle tower, about 300 Yoshino and weeping cherry trees will be in full bloom. During the Nighttime Cherry Blossom Viewing, the park will be specially open until 9 p.m., allowing you to enjoy the illuminated cherry blossoms and the Osaka Castle tower.

Osaka Castle Barbecue in the Forest
March 21st (Fri) to May 11th (Sun)
Paid Barbecue Area to be set up for the event period.Although barbecues are usually prohibited in Osaka Castle Park year-round, for a limited time around the cherry blossom viewing season, a paid area where you can enjoy a barbecue will be set up. You can choose between a plan for renting only barbecue equipment, or a plan which includes a barbecue equipment rental as well as ingredients.

Osaka Gourmet Expo 2025,
supported by SUNTORYOSAKA’s new hotspot for foodies.
In 2025, many people from all over the world will be visiting Osaka. A new gourmet hotspot has been created in Osaka Castle Park to communicate ookini! ("Thank you!" in Osaka dialect) to all who come. A line of famous restaurants will wow even the most discerning gourmands, offering a hospitality unique to Osaka.

Special Exhibition
The Reconstruction of Osaka CastleThe reconstruction of Osaka Castle by the Tokugawa regime was commenced in 1620 by order of Hidetada, the second shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate. This special exhibition primarily focuses on how the Tokugawa Government proceeded with the reconstruction project and how the finished Castle was managed. In addition, the exhibition covers the original Castle’s history when it was under the Toyotomi Government and how the town of Osaka was formed.

Osaka Castle
Toyotomi Stone Wall Museumopens on April 1st (Tue)!
The Toyotomi Stone Wall had been dormant for the past 400 years. After its discovery in 1984 and 12 years since the start of the exhibition project, the Toyotomi Stone Wall Museum has finally been completed.

Osaka Castle Band Shell Festival JAZZ & Heritage 2025 ~Jazz and Toyotomi's Stone Walls~ supported by Daiwa House
This year, Osaka Castle Band Shell's famous event will be held again in May. MITCH, the trumpeter known for his work in the NHK dramas "Come, Come Everybody" and "Boogie Woogie," will be joined by Kansai's leading musicians spanning various genres! There will be a variety of collaboration projects that can only be seen at this event. We will present an exciting and fun world of music that everyone can enjoy.
